World Cup Sales Day
World cup fever hit the Patrick’s office on
16th June when the team participated in the second
charity sales day of the year - the objective was to enhance the
sales pipeline, generate leads and, in the spirit of Towergate,
raise money for charity.
The whole team got involved and were divided
into three teams; England, Italy, and Spain, who battled against
each other for the honour of being crowned champions.
There was a points and prize system in place
with each nation competing against each other to gather as many
names, email addresses and renewals dates as possible with bonus
points for quoting on the day.
There were additional activities to boost
points including a penalty shoot out, spot the ball competition and
quiz. By the end of the afternoon calling session, it was extremely
close between the three teams and the day was brought to a close
with “A Question of Football”, hosted by quizmaster Andy Grey.
Extra points picked up here were crucial.
The atmosphere was tense, as it was neck and
neck all the way. It went down to the final question and England
triumphed with their superior footballing knowledge. Sadly, this
was not enough to beat Italy who, overall, had accumulated the
highest number of points throughout the day.
Everyone played their part in creating a fun
World Cup atmosphere, at the same time working really hard to boost
the sales pipeline and generate leads, which resulted in:
Results
- 462 decision maker names confirmed
- 552 email addresses
- 152 Renewal dates
- 7 quotes (one of which has gone on cover)
In addition, we raised £100 in sponsorship for
the team taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in
October.
