Towergate Patrick team charity day
5th March 2010 was Towergate Patrick ‘Team Charity
Day’. The focus of the day was re-launching the Towergate Patrick
Homecare policy. The whole team got involved, talking to prospects
and clients on the phone, generating awareness and, at the same
time, gathering email addresses and renewals dates, for future
campaigns.
The day was also about having fun whilst
raising money for charity. The office was split into three teams,
each choosing their own charity to support. Competitive spirit soon
kicked in as, not only was each team vying to be crowned overall
winner, a donation of £100 would be awarded to the winning team’s
charity of choice. And, in the spirit of fun, there was a tombola
and a ‘guess the baby competition’.
Overall, we raised £148, and John
Whittlestone’s winning team ‘CareFree’ were the day’s winners.
Their charity of choice - Mountains for Mia - will be
receiving the cheque. Our donation will go towards the charity’s
goal of raising £3,500 to help modify the home of a young women who
suffered a devastating stroke, leaving her paralysed.
The day was a success and, in addition to
collecting a number of emails addresses and renewals dates, we
generated three quotes. We are already planning, and looking
forward to, the next sales day in June.
